See This Movie

Okay, I just went and saw The Chronicles of Narnia, The Lion, The Witch, And the Wardrobe, and it was one of the greatest films I have ever seen. I am serious here people. Whoever translated that short book into this masterpiece of a film was a literary genius. Not that the book wasn't excellent as well, just short on the details. The film fills in all the gaps and adds so much more. The costumes, the camera angles, everything about the film is amazing. So go see it. Go see it now. Although I would totally understand if you would rather see King Kong. But at least put this one very high on your list. It is a great film, and I am going to buy it when it comes out on DVD. Actually, I would say it is even better than the movie of Harry Potter 4. Seriously, it is very, very good. 5 stars. What are you still doing here? Go see the movie already!!!

Well, it's about time I updated this thing.

It is. It truly is. I don't know, there are just so many things to do on the internet, that it often seems like a waste of time to update this. Let's see, there is answering emails, reading and commenting on other peoples blogs, and looking up important information for one thing. And, also, my commitment to searching the web in order to find huge wastes of time. A recent discorvery: www.landoverbabtist.org which is a highly entertaing parody website. WARNING: CONSERVATIVE REPUBLICANS WILL NOT FIND THIS ENTERTAINING!!! Also, visit http://threehams.com for an even bigger waste of time. Or, if you are feeling especially daring, http://www.total.net/~fishnet/ is the site for you! So there you go. These websites are my excuses for not updating. Except for the ham one. I don't know why I spend so much time on there.

Two in One

Two events. One night. This is Thursday I'm talking about, not today, because nothing happened today. Okay, so first off there was an Academic Legue match. Against PV. We killed them. The final score was 51 to 37, us having the 51, obviously. And everybody was telling us we were going to lose to PV. Idiots. Of course, it helped that Tevin joined round three and talked for an entire minute. For the first time, the round three presentation was over three minutes and length and we didn't get a penalty. Which, by the way, has happened in every previous match. And also, in round four we got question after question right. The only PV student that got any right was this short little sixth grader with a lisp and glasses. And every time he got a question right he would go "yethh!" and punch the air. Hilarious.

Event two was the orquesta concert. Which would have gone great had I not been needing to blow my nose the entire time. So, overall, it was one hella busy night. And then I came home and watched Survivor, which I had recorded. I hate to admit that I like that show, but I do. Then I went to bed and slept for a while. Then I woke up. Then went back to sleep. Then woke up, blew my nose, and went back to sleep. Then woke up, turned over, and went back to sleep. Then woke up, went back to sleep. Then my alarm woke me up. I turned off the alarm. Went back to sleep. Woke up. Got out of bed. Got back in bed. Went back to sleep. Got up again. Went ot the bathroom. Came downstairs. Wait...what the #@%! am I doing? Later.

My mom needs to make some phone calls. This calls for some speedy randomness. Squirt. Monkey. Squirrel. Holy cow the president is having an affair with the cow from the evil radioactive alien farm of a three legged tree frog! How could this have happened? Everything is weasly poopin' ruined!

Stupid grapes.

Dude. I am too bored to even come up with a good title. I'm so bored i'm gnot even goint to cooret my mistakes when I amke them because I just want to get this post over with. Oh crpa I keep forgettin to not edit out my misktakes. Well, mostly I do. But sometimes it's just instictive to dot that. Well, let's see. To start off, I could not get on the computer at all until right now. From arond two thirty yestaerday , my dad havd to right his wsermon on the computer. WHich means no interntet. Which means no checking meail. Wand no communication with the outside world. Which really suckes. And then dtoday, chucrch, and then this freakin' 3 hour lon g piano reicatal!!! Althouh churh was pretty cool. We all want down inot the basement and turned out the lights. Ccic eric and me didn't get scared , but Karrisa and , uh, I think it was Sara or Sarch or something kept on screaming at everthing. Which was why I took upon myself to scare them aevn more. Lke while everynbody wa s doen in the basement I kept on welakin up to the basement door and saying stuff like "you're gont too die!" and then they'd scream. I twas freakin' hilarious. Which was just what I needed because after that I hasd to sit through the living dead recital. Which was not a good thing. Alhthoug I did a good jobb on my 7 minute long piece that I had to have entirely by memory, thank you ventry much. But yeah, I hate thouse recital things. Oaky, well, nothing elese to asy. see ya.

Dance

For the first time in my entire middle school career, I went to a dance. The Christmas dance, no less. Can I dance? Hell no. Did I dance? Another hell no. So as I can tell, you are very interested in just how I kept myself occupied during the whole thing. So let me explain.

Part of my IEP (individualized education plan) is to create a video project that shows different events throughout the entire year, to show at graduation. So, when I found out that if I was to film the dance I would get free admission, I said to myself "well then I might just film the dance." And I did. And I can tell you, I got some good stuff on film. Of course, we can't show the best stuff at the graduation, unless we're really mad at those girls who got caught hot-dancing on film. It was hilarious. We were filming them for about a minute, and then they see us and start screaming and everything. Hee hee hee. Funny.

Since Oscar has long arms, he was able to get the camera to an overhead view of a break dancing cicle where Tevin and some other guy were facing off. However, I would have to say the absolute best shot was when they started playing "Gasolina" and everybody formed a cirle around me. Some other good shots there that we can't show at graduation. But anyway, I have to say I had a good time. I actually might consider paying to get into the next dance. Just don't make me dance.
